○ K-RIS Help Desk New Year holidays information
K-RIS Help Desk will stop service during the following period due to New Year holidays.
Friday, 27 December 2024 - Sunday, 5 January 2025

○Fixing a defect in the external DB import process
The following actions were taken on August 7 due to a problem found in the external DB import process.
1. Fixed a bug that the same information was registered in both “Journal name” and “Publisher” when registering in the external DB import.
2. Fixed a bug that “Other” was displayed in the faculty member's personal record when the school name “Other” and the school name (Japanese) or (English) were entered in the academic background.
* Request regarding 1.
If you have already imported the data by August 7, it is possible that the above-mentioned defects will not be corrected automatically. Please check your My Page and correct the data yourself if necessary.
○Change to the display of the western calendar in the personal statement
Personal records that can be output from K-RIS My Page will be displayed in Western calendar from April 25, 2024.
○About K-RIS
The affiliation and job title of basic information of faculty and staff members are updated monthly at the K-RIS Help Desk. The update process takes 5 to 10 business days, so the latest information will not be reflected on the first day. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

○About supplementary input application
The use authority of the auxiliary input person is valid only for the application year, so if you are currently using it but do not submit an application for next year, you will not be able to log in after April 1.
If you would like to receive new or continuous supplementary input, please apply as follows.
In addition, please submit one application form for each auxiliary input person.

○About data transmission settings to researchmap
The data transmission function from K-RIS to researchmap has been upgraded to researchmap.V2, and the data input items of K-RIS have been modified.

○Regarding the addition of data acquisition function from ORCID
From November 2020, ORCID has been added to the target DB of the "Import external data" function of K-RIS.
It is a function to import thesis data registered in ORCID into K-RIS.
If you want to add ORCID to the import target, please change the data acquisition setting from My Page.
○Publicly available data from outside the university
Disclosed data will be automatically updated during processing performed every night. If you want to update the content on the HP for external public viewing immediately after confirming the data for disclosure, click on the 【Update the external public view page with the following image】button.
○Input menu ‘Importing external data’ [Important].
For the importing of results from external databases, the range of candidate data is wide and may include data from other people. Therefore, when importing external data, please check the candidate data yourself and select them accordingly.
